My story is one of not fitting in and rejection. Being adopted, although I have a loving family, gave me a sense of not being enough and having to prove my worth constantly. 10 years ago I lived through a traumatic divorce with cheating and deceit. This added another layer of self-doubt and affected my confidence as a woman.  

Dance, self expression and community helped me through this stage of my life and I needed to create something that would help other people feel confident about themselves, feel that they belong, no matter how 'weird' they are!  A safe space where dance, expression, stage and connection come together to bring EMPOWERMENT. This is why I created The Showdance Experience and Swagalicious, to push boundaries and help people feel empowered, seen and safe.
